General Residential Warranty:

The warranty for residential use of our Backyard Comfort manufactured products is valid for 7 years from the date of purchase and applies only to the original purchaser.  Our products are warranted to be free of manufacturing defects, and if there is a structural failure during normal usage, we will repair or place, at our option.  However, should the model in question be discontinued, we may substitute the product with similar merchandise.

Cast Aluminum Frames:

Backyard Comfort manufactured products have a frame warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 7 years.  It does not cover commercial use, damage due to improper assembly, actus of nature, fire, freezing and abusive use.​

Fabric & Cushions:

Sunbrella fabric has a 5-year Limited Warranty on Upholstery and Sling fabrics.  Sunbrella's 5-year warranty guarantees their fabric against becoming unserviceable due to:

• Loss of color

• Loss of strength

• Abrasion

• Pilling

from normal usage and exposure conditions, including sunlight, mildew, and atmospheric chemicals when used in appropriate applications.  ​

 

Backyard Comfort's standard fabric and all foam cushions are warranted for a period of one year against seams separating or tearing.  Fading or discoloration resulting from exposure to the elements, chemicals or spills is not covered.

Sling/Resin Wicker Material:

Backyard Comfort manufactured products warranty our sling material and resin wicker weave for a period of one year against separation, breaking or tearing.  Fading or discoloration resulting from exposure to the elements, chemicals or spills is not covered.

Cast Aluminum Finishes:

Backyard Comfort manufactured products' cast aluminum finishes are warranted against peeling, cracking or blistering for a period of two years.  This does not cover either normal wear and tear resulting in scratches or chips, or fading as a result of exposure to the elements or chemicals.

Salt Water Enviroments:

If your residence is within 2 miles of salt water, Backyard Comfort offers to the original purchaser a 1-year limited warranty on the finish of wicker fibers against fading or breakage, and a 1-year limited warranty on peeling, cracking, or blistering on our cast aluminum products.
