Outdoor Power Recliners by Klaussner Outdoor

ASHEBORO, N.C. – Klaussner Outdoor, a division of Klaussner Home Furnishings, is introducing a new concept that incorporates the functionality of power motion with a cordless power source into outdoor seating.

Over a year in development, the product is a collaborative effort by Klaussner Outdoor and its suppliers of reclining mechanisms and power actuator systems. Borrowing technology from medical and outdoor applications Klaussner Outdoor is excited to bring this innovative product to the outdoor market for the first time.

“Power motion is a natural for outdoors where it essentially lets you convert a chair into a chaise with the touch of a button,” said Gary McCray, president of Klaussner Outdoor.

The technology combines weather resistant motion mechanisms and a sealed power system driven by a rechargeable power pack.

“Given Klaussner’s knowledge of the motion business indoors and our relationships with suppliers in that category it was only natural for us to lead the way in bringing the comfort and convenience of power motion outdoors,” said McCray.
